These are the terms you agree to when you buy or use KeepAnswers. They are written to be read, not to be impressive. If something here is unclear, ask before you buy and I will answer plainly.

In these terms, "KeepAnswers", "we" and "us" mean the KeepAnswers product and the person who operates it. "You" means the person or business holding the licence.

1. What you are buying

KeepAnswers is a Chrome extension, plus a Google Apps Script you install into your own Google account. A licence gives you:

• The right to install and use the extension on browsers you control.
• Use across every Facebook group you personally administer. There is no per-group fee

and no seat count.

• Updates to the extension and the script for as long as the product exists.

The licence is for you or your business. It is not for resale, redistribution, or use on behalf of clients as a service you charge for separately, unless you ask and I agree in writing.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not of the buyer. It means no recurring charge and no renewal, not a promise that the product will exist forever. If KeepAnswers is ever discontinued, section 8 says what happens.

2. What you need for it to work

KeepAnswers depends on things I do not control:

• Facebook. You must be an admin or moderator of the groups you use it on, and

participation questions must be turned on for those groups. Facebook can change its page layout, its features, or its rules at any time.

• Google. You need a Google account to hold the spreadsheet and run the Apps Script.

Gmail's daily sending limits apply to your follow-up emails — around 100 recipients a day on a personal account and 1,500 on Google Workspace.

• Chrome, or a browser that runs Chrome extensions.

If Facebook changes something that breaks collection, I will fix it as fast as I can. I cannot promise that a fix is always possible, and I do not control how long it takes.

3. How you agree to use it

You agree to use KeepAnswers only on groups you administer, and only to collect answers that members have knowingly given to your own participation questions.

You agree not to:

• Use it on groups you do not administer.
• Use it to collect data from people who have not answered your questions.
• Send email to people who did not give you their address for that purpose, or continue

sending to someone who has asked you to stop.

• Resell, sublicense or redistribute the extension or the script.
• Present the tool as being operated or endorsed by Facebook, Meta or Google.

You are the data controller for everything you collect. KeepAnswers moves your members' answers from Facebook into your own Google Sheet; it never holds a copy. Whether you are allowed to collect that data, what you tell people you will do with it, and complying with the privacy law that applies to you and to them, are your responsibility. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is read and where it goes.

4. Facebook is not part of this

KeepAnswers is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Facebook, Meta or Google in any way. It automates actions inside your own browser that you are already entitled to take as a group administrator.

Facebook's terms are between you and Facebook. Using automation on Facebook carries some risk to your account, and that risk is yours. The extension is deliberately paced to behave like a person rather than a script — randomised gaps, quiet hours, a per-run cap — but no pacing makes automation risk-free, and I do not claim otherwise.

5. Price, payment and refunds

The price shown at checkout is what you pay, once, in US dollars. Payment is handled by Stripe; I never see or store your card details.

Refunds: 14 days, no questions asked. Write to me through the contact form with the email address you bought with and I will refund it. You do not have to explain yourself, and I will not try to talk you out of it.

After a refund your licence key stops working and you agree to remove the extension.

The launch price is a genuine introductory price and it goes up. Buying at the launch price does not entitle you to a refund of the difference later, and a later price rise does not affect a licence you already hold.

6. Support

Support is me, by email, through the contact form. I answer these myself, usually the same day, and there is no ticket system in between.

Support covers getting the extension installed, getting your sheet and script connected, and anything that is not working the way this site says it works. It does not cover writing your marketing copy, your lead magnet, or your group strategy.

7. What is not promised

KeepAnswers is provided as it is. Within what the law allows, I do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will keep working through every change Facebook makes.

Specifically, nothing here is a promise about how many emails you will collect, how many people will open them, or what that will be worth to you. Those depend on your group, your questions and your offer.

To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for any claim connected to KeepAnswers is limited to what you paid for it. I am not liable for lost profits, lost data, or loss of access to a Facebook account.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot legally be limited, including consumer rights in your country.

8. If the product ends

If KeepAnswers is ever discontinued, I will:

• Tell licence holders by email before it happens, with as much notice as I can give.
• Publish a final version of the extension that works without a licence check, so your

existing installation keeps running for as long as Facebook's page structure allows.

• Leave your data entirely alone. It is in your Google account and it stays there — there

is nothing for me to shut down, because I never held it.

9. Ending your licence

You can stop using KeepAnswers at any time by removing the extension. Section 6 of the privacy policy explains how to delete everything it holds.

I may end a licence if it is being used in a way section 3 forbids — chiefly, using it on groups you do not administer, or to send mail to people who never gave you their address. Where the situation allows it, I will write to you first and give you a chance to put it right. If I end a licence for that reason there is no refund.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that materially affects you, licence holders get an email about it. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Continuing to use KeepAnswers after a change means you accept it.
